Uploading your data via FTP for the first time

Once you have filled out the FTP session properties window as above, click on the "OK" button.

Once the FTP connection is made, you can double click on the directory you wish to enter.
Once you have entered the htdocs directory, you will upload your web pages and images.
If you are uploading cgi scripts, they need to go in the cgi-bin.

To upload files to your server, you will left click on the file, on your local machine, select the mode (Ascii or Binary), then left click the right pointing arrow, to upload the file to your remote server.
